Benefits of learning nature's lifecycles in the outdoors
Learning the theory about lifecycles has it place, but it can't beat real hands-on experiences of nature. Pre-school children learning in the real world. Our very friendly ewe, "Toffee" has given birth to a boy, called "Pickle" and a girl "Lilly" - names chosen by our kindergarten children.
Woodland Adventurers Outdoor Kindergarten in Box, Corsham has been awarded the highest level (Level 5) for the Food Standards Agency Food Hygiene Rating. This highest level achievement takes into account the outdoor nature of our setting including visiting and feeding our farm animals.
Hi everyone, we are now back home from our exciting and long adventure holiday. We had so much fun and met so many lovely new children. However, it's always good to be back. We can't wait to see all our regular children friends in the Woodland Adventurers Outdoor Kindergarten in Monkton Farleigh tomorrow morning. We are so excited! Teee...heee...!!!
CHURCHFIELDS, THE VILLAGE SCHOOL receives an Award of £10,000 to create a natural outdoor theatre including a low level stage with grass seating on the sloping playing fields at the School, the Children will be central to all stages of the Project. Working with Woodland Adventurers and a performing arts specialist the School will use the space to teach performing arts including acting, stage management, advertising and budgeting. The outdoor performances, open to the local community, will create future funding to sustain the ongoing Project.
